Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need any extra hardware to mirror my iPhone to a TV?
No. Mirroring works over your home Wi-Fi network using Chromecast, AirPlay or Miracast support built into your smart TV. No cables, dongles or extra hardware are needed.
Can I mirror my iPhone to a Samsung TV?
Yes. As long as your Samsung TV and iPhone are on the same Wi-Fi network, the Screen Mirroring app can detect the TV and start casting wirelessly.
Why won't my iPhone mirror to my TV?
Verify both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network and frequency band. Disable VPN or proxy services, enable Local Network permission in iOS Settings, restart your router and TV, and wait 30-60 seconds after powering on the TV before connecting.
